Refund policy

Every piece in this shop is made by hand, one at a time. If something isn't right for you, here is exactly what we can do.

Returns within 30 days

You can return these within 30 days of delivery for a refund:

  • Makeup bags and pouches
  • Wallets, clutches and wristlets
  • Purses and handbags

Items must be unused, unwashed, and in the condition they arrived.

Final sale

  • Beaded earrings and other pierced jewelry, for hygiene reasons.
  • Custom or made-to-order pieces made to your specific request.

Final sale items can still be returned if they arrive damaged or we sent the wrong item. See below.

How to start a return

  1. Use our contact form or email [email protected] with your order number and the item you're returning.
  2. We'll reply with the return address. Please don't send anything back before we've replied.
  3. Ship the item back using a tracked service. Return shipping is paid by you unless the item arrived damaged or we sent the wrong thing.

Refunds

Once your return arrives and we've checked it, we'll email you and send the refund to your original payment method within 7 business days. Your bank or card issuer may take a few more days to show it.

Original shipping charges are not refunded, except when the item arrived damaged or we sent the wrong item.

Damaged or wrong item

Contact us within 7 days of delivery with a photo of the item and the packaging. We'll send a replacement or a full refund including shipping, whichever you prefer, and we'll cover the return postage.

Exchanges

Want a different fabric or style? Contact us before sending anything back. Pieces are made in small batches, so a specific fabric may be gone, but there is usually something close, and she can often make it again.

Cancelling an order

You can cancel for a full refund any time before your order ships. Contact us as soon as possible. Once it has shipped, the return terms above apply.

If we can't ship on time

If we can't ship your order within the time stated in our Shipping Policy, we'll email you before that date with a new shipping date and the option to cancel for a full refund. If we can't fill an order at all, we'll cancel it and refund you in full within 7 business days.

Handmade means slightly different

Each piece is cut and sewn or beaded by hand. Pattern placement varies from piece to piece, sizes can differ by up to about a quarter inch, and small variations in stitching and beadwork are a sign of handwork, not a defect. These aren't grounds for a "not as described" return.
